Man Utd Transfers: 5 Reasons Why The Reds Must Sign Robert Lewandowski

3. He Could Help Get The Best Out Of Kagawa

Kagawa Since his £12 million move from Borussia Dortmund last summer, Shinji Kagawa hasn't enjoyed the most stellar of seasons. The Japanese attacker has only scored 5 league goals this season and three of those came in a single game when he scored a hat-trick in the 4-0 hammering of Norwich. That was a performance that underlined just why Ferguson signed the midfielder and a sign that he could yet be an Old Trafford great, but for the time being at least, he hasn't done enough to justify the price tag. That problem could solve itself by signing Lewandowski. Kagawa formed a terrific understanding with the Polish international during their time together at Dortmund and forged a lethal partnership which saw the duo bag 47 goals between them as Jurgen Klopp's men marched to the German championship. If Ferguson signed Lewandowski, he could reinvigorate Kagawa and unleash one of the most devastating attacking partnerships in the division.
