2. He's Cheaper Than Falcao
A report on the
Mail Online back in December claimed United had already signed Lewandowski for £18 million. There were two things wrong with that article. Number one, they hadn't, and number two, he's not worth £18 million - not anymore at least. After his dazzling performance against Real Madrid last week coupled with his efforts in guiding Dortmund to the final stages of the Champions League, his market value has
skyrocketed to around £30 million. But even then he's a comparative snip to another Manchester United transfer target, Radamel Falcao. The Colombian has
also been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, but he would cost the Premier League champions £50 million, £20 million more than Lewandowski. Both are tremendous players but Lewandowski is both better value for money and a better player. The prodigious Pole has scored three more goals that Atletico Madrid's Falcao this season and unlike the South American has helped fire his side virtually into the final of the Champions League - and he's three years younger.
