Man Utd Transfers: 5 Replacements For David de Gea

3. Simon Mignolet

Mignolet Whereas Sir Alex Ferguson has heavily rotated his goalkeepers this season, seemingly undecided on which of de Gea or Lindegaard is worthy of the No1 jersey at Old Trafford, Simon Mignolet has established himself as the number one keeper on Wearside, starting every game this season for Sunderland. Though Martin O'Neil's side are struggling this term, and in spite of the fact Ferguson watched Mignolet concede three times against his side first hand, the veteran Scott is thought to be interested in the Belgian keeper and is weighing up an offer. Sunderland are believed to be wanting no less than £10million for their shot stopper, but given the Red Devils have conceded 27 times this season, Ferguson should be less mindful about putting a price on his defence.
