2. Iker Cassilas
One of the more interesting transfer deals of the January transfer window could be this one. A direct swap - de Gea to Real Madrid, Cassilas to Old Trafford. Madrid manager Jose Mourinho dropped Cassilas for his sides defeat to Malaga this week* after a bust-up between the pair, which has intensified speculation of de Gea's arrival at the Bernabeu. Coupled with that is the suggestion that de Gea is homesick and unhappy with life in Manchester and is longing for a return to his home country with a move to Real on the cards.** If the latter were to happen, that would certainly mean the end for Cassilas at Real Madrid, leaving him to find a new club.
