Although he only spent five years at Old Trafford, his time and contributions there will never be forgotten. His astounding skill topped off with his countless goals helped Manchester United to a haul of four Premier League titles alongside two FA Cups. Although he has been a legend for Manchester United and has certainly made an impact in the Premier League, it hasn€™t always been good for Cantona, his time in England was blighted with that infamous kung-fu kick on a Crystal Palace fan; but that only boosts his popularity amongst Manchester United supporters. Eric Cantona provided panache, scoring 82 goals in his five year spell at Old Trafford, his impact cannot be measured in statistics and helped Manchester United capture the inaugural Premier League. In 1994 he also helped set up the club€™s first ever Double after scoring penalties in thr 1994 FA Cup Final. It is safe to say that King Eric could have gone on to play for another couple of years, as he only retired at age 30; which is a relatively young age to retire in football, but what better way to go out; on the top in 1997.
