Man Utd's 10 Most Hated Players

8. Tom Cleverley

The Manchester United midfielder, once heralded as the newest darling of English football, became one of the Premier League's most criticised players last season. United languished to seventh place under David Moyes and Cleverley was made a scapegoat out of, with the online petition calling for Cleverley to be banned from international duty calling him 'inept'. Coincidentally, Cleverley didn't make the Three Lions's World Cup squad, and when comedian Simon Brodkin, known for his character Lee Nelson, tried to board England's flight to Brazil earlier this summer, images of the funnyman being led away by police were quickly mocked up with Cleverley being hauled away by authorities instead.
