Newcastle Premier League Managers Ranked By Win Percentage
9. Chris Hughton - 31.25% (59.38% If 2009-10 Championship Season Included)
Newcastle United Manager: May 24th 2009-December 6th 2010 Games In Charge (If 2009-10 Championship Season Included): 16 (64) Won (If 2009-10 Championship Season Included): 5 (38) Drew (If 2009-10 Championship Season Included): 4 (11) Lost (If 2009-10 Championship Season Included): 7 (15) Win Percentage (If 2009-10 Championship Season Included): 31.25% (59.38%) Reason For Leaving: Sacked The win ratio of 31.25% is slightly harsh on Chris Hughton because that does not include his glorious Championship winning season of 2009-10 - because if it was then he would be right at the top with 59.38%. However, of all of the 16 games he managed during the 2010-11 season, before his sacking on December 6th, Hughton claimed five victories, as well as recording four draws and seven losses. His dismissal was harsh, but Ashley wanted fresh blood - though Hughton had done an exceptional job to bring the Magpies back into the Premier League.
