Newcastle Transfers: 5 Strikers Pardew Must Sign To Save The Summer

1. Demba Ba

Demba Ba A similarly controversial signing would be the return of Demba Ba to Tyneside. Only departing in January, he seems to be behind Lukaku and Torres in the pecking order at Chelsea and with another striker perhaps on the way in, he could be forced out. He may be insistent that he is staying at Chelsea in The Sun, it may prove more difficult than that for him. Newcastle fans took much glee back in January when he faced his formed club to laugh and jeer him off the pitch when Colocinni gave him a nice whack in the face. That€™s football and I get that, I joined in! However, this doesn€™t mean I wouldn€™t welcome him back with open arms. Ba left the club for Chelsea, a team competing for Champions League football year after year and competing for silverware year after year. It€™s very different to the reasons for the Remy rejection. With Mourinho seemingly not a fan he could be available on the cheap, and with several players needed this could be ideal. The best thing about any move for Ba would be we know he can score goals in black and white. We€™ve seen him do it. If he can find that sort of form at the club again, it€™d be stupid not to have him! Those are the strikers I€™d like to see join Newcastle summer, do you have any better alternatives? Thoughts welcome below.
