Premier League Predictions: Who Will Finish In The Top Half?

1st: Manchester United

I'm not basing this solely off the current table standings, before you start. I'd tip United at this point even if City were level. That's because this season United have conceded but have had the drive to come back and win these games so far. City just haven't. There's a theory going around that because United are so strong up top now, they are trying to play too many attacking players, and as a result are sacrificing any chance of defending effectively, and it makes sense to me. To be fair, as long as you're scoring more than you're conceding, you'll win the title, and you'll do so in some of the best matches to watch. But you can't go on conceding that many goals, and the manager has said it himself more than a few times already this season. Ferguson will hope that being this far ahead already will dampen the spirits of his 'noisy neighbours,' and will look to reclaim the title this year. The smart money would say that he's right. As ever, please do comment with your own opinions, especially on where you think your own team will finish.
