Premier League Predictions: Who Will Finish In The Top Half?

2nd: Manchester City

Mancini Well, this was always going to be a big call. Take heart, City fans, in the fact that nothing is won by Christmas, and that a 7 point lead can be turned around very quickly, especially if United keep shipping goals like they're going out of fashion. City have a very, very strong squad, and should be challenging on all fronts. Hopefully, their early, shambolic exit from the Champions League will be a positive in the long run, and allow City more focus than United on the league. City need work defensively. They have a player who will be, and some might argue is already, one of the best goalkeepers in the world between the sticks, but it's their back four that's the problem at the moment. Kolo Toure needs to go. Lescott is still a good player, but I can see why Mancini is opting to play Nastasic. The strikers also need a talking to; how is this team struggling to score? Balotelli hs the potential but his attitude is less impressive. Dzeko needs to play for longer than just the last 10 minutes of games. Even as I write this he's opened with 2 against Norwich. Aguero has looked slightly shaky since coming back from injury. Silva has struggled to regain form, and Nasri has been awful. If they sort it out now, they could win the title.
