2. Lamela Will Take Time To Settle
Unlike Christian Eriksen, who has made key contributions in both of his first two games - being the creative spark against Norwich City last weekend and scoring a great goal against Tromso on Thursday evening - Erik Lamela, it would appear, is going to take time to settle. Lamela made a very brief cameo away at Arsenal, had a slightly more prolonged substitute appearance against Norwich and played the full 90 minutes against Tromso, but the club's record signing is yet to really make his mark. He looked keen against Tromso, always looking to get involved, and did indeed play a neat pass to lay on Defoe for the first goal of the evening but, other than that, his major contributions came in his own half in defensive situations (which, to be fair, you have to praise him for). Time will tell if he will prove his worth at White Hart Lane and obviously he isn't being written off yet (that would be beyond stupid), but it certainly looks as though he's going to take time to settle in to English football - but that's obviously something that a player of his talents should be given.
