3. Mousa Dembele
Mousa Dembele was one of Tottenham's stand-out performers last season and an almost-automatic first name on the team sheet, such was his importance to the side. However, his importance to the side has since wavered, thanks largely to a series of niggling injuries and lack of form keeping him out of the side. The Belgian international has looked out of sorts at times this season, particularly when paired alongside Paulinho, with question marks raised over whether the two can play together. Dembele doesn't bring enough goals to his game and his passing is indecisive, and you have to ask what exactly he brings to the side at present, aside from his dribbling abilities and keeping possession in tight spaces. Tottenham need a new creative midfielder in January to unlock defences and improve Tottenham's goal-tally, currently the lowest of any side in the top 10. And if anyone is dispensable to make way for new creative talent, it's Dembele.
