It has been as clear as day that Coloccini was kept at Newcastle against his will in January 2013 when personal problems surfaced and a move back home to San Lorenzo was muted, and looking back, it would have been the best decision for all parties to let him go. His performances have stooped even lower than the shambolic standards he set during his first season on Tyneside. What more needs to be said?
