10 Greatest Ship Entrances In Star Trek

8. Enterprise-D - All Good Things

The chips are down. The Klingons are clearly more powerful than the USS Pasteur. Frankly, it's game over. Captain Beverly Picard is ready to signal surrender, and then Data spins on his chair to announce another ship is decloaking.

It was 1994, this writer was just a spring chicken, and yet can still remember the exact moment that the Enterprise-D, in her three-nacelled glory, slid out from under that cloak and began firing that ventral phaser canon. Honestly, if anyone had been walking within a three-mile radius, they might have wondered what on earth was the matter, the cheering was so loud.

This alternate future may yet still come to pass - with the recovery of the Enterprise-D's saucer section from Veridian III, and the addition of the drive section of the USS Syracuse, who's to say that there may not be a situation that calls for this ship to enter service yet again, canon and extra nacelle in hand?
