Star Trek: 10 Times Opening Credits Spoiled The Surprise

6. Barbara March and Gwynyth Walsh - Past Prologue

Star Trek Duras Sisters
CBS Media Ventures

The Duras Sisters were the occasional bane in the side of Captain Picard, Worf, and anyone else who fancied a moment of peace and quiet. Taking after their father and brother, they sought to rule the Klingon Empire, and what's a bit of Romulan interference between friends? They played, and lost, a wicked game during the Klingon Civil War in Redemption, so their only appearance on Deep Space Nine came at a time when they were outcasts.

They turned up on the station attempting to make illicit deals with the Kon Ma, a terrorist sect of Bajorans, in a bid to once again take over the Empire. It goes about as well as one would expect.

Barbara March and Gwynyth Walsh both appear in the credits shortly after Andrew Robinson, making his debut appearance as Garak here. This is less a case of a big spoiler, rather a mild curiosity. Unfortunately, the sisters don't get very much to do. They would see more action in both Fistborn and, of course, Star Trek: Generations
