Star Trek: 10 WORST Holodeck Episodes
1. These Are The Voyages - Enterprise
Presumably, this will surprise absolutely no one. These Are The Voyages aired as the final episode in Star Trek: Enterprise's run, and was designed as a love letter to that entire era of Trek, from 1987 until 2005. However, rather than serving as a crowd-pleasing send-off, it instead offered a rather ignoble end for this cast of characters.
There are truly any number of reasons to choose from. We could go with Trip's death. We could address Riker's odd interactions with T'Pol. There's the thought of sandwiching this story into The Pegasus, one of The Next Generation's strongest episodes from its final season.
Instead, we'll simply use this example: Captain Jonathan Archer hugs T'Pol, and ascends the steps to deliver one of the most iconic speeches in Federation history - and then, before he gets a chance to open his mouth, Riker ends the program, and Star Trek: Enterprise just ends - even with that closing passage showing Picard's, Kirk's and Archer's Enterprises one after the other.
It was a jarring ending to a series that deserved better, and though perhaps as a standalone event it could have been an interesting what if, instead it serves as a damp squib of an ending to the final Trek series of that era.
