10 2000s Superhero Cartoons Fans Shouldn't Ignore
1. Ben 10
If you grew up in the 2000s it is certain that you have at least heard about Ben 10.
Created by Man of Action, Ben 10’s premise revolves around a 10 year old who is granted access to an alien device allowing him to transform into different alien species. To say this show was a success is putting it lightly, becoming a sensation that captivated a generation of kids because let’s face it, who wouldn't want their DNA spliced with 10 different aliens?
Joined by his Grandpa Max and cousin Gwen, Ben would go on a summer road trip of a lifetime, fighting aliens and learning the secrets of the universe. This show is interesting because it’s completely original as it's not based on a comic of any sorts. The show had the freedom to do what it wanted and run with the imagination of the writers.
At first, the main characters seem one-note, but over time they learn to work together stopping alien overlords, killer clowns and bounty hunters that would threaten Earth. It might not be based on a comic, but this is one superhero series all cartoon fans shouldn't sleep on.
