10 Actors You Didn't Realise Were In Star Wars: The Clone Wars

9. New Trilogy Cast Members

With few exceptions, the entire Clone Wars cast is not composed of the same actors who portrayed the characters in the prequel trilogy, but there are many who returned for a single episode, or an assortment of episodes as guest appearances. Christopher Lee and Samuel L. Jackson reprized their roles for the Clone Wars movie that sparked the TV series (as Count Dooku and Mace Windu respectively). Anthony Daniels and Matthew Wood continued to portray their roles of C-3P0 and General Grievous for the duration of the show. Pernilla August returned for a single scene to play a vision of Shmi Skywalker, Anakin's mother, during the Mortis Arc €“ an arc that was met with critical success, and examined the very nature of the force. The Mortis Arc also featured the return of Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn's force ghost during several scenes, and Neeson will again return to play this role in the never before seen episodes of season six. Hey there, I'm Joseph, a college student, and a huge fan of a variety of nerdy stuff. Ultimately I'm a big-time Star Wars fanboy, and an avid Nintendo fan. Some of my favorite video games of all time include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Paper Mario series, and Metroid Prime, but I am known to greatly enjoy other games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Halo. Star Wars is my obsession, and I'm a massive Clone Wars fan and will never overcome Disney's cancellation of the series. I'm thrilled to write for What Culture, and I hope you all enjoy my articles!
