10 Actors That Were So Bad They Had To Quit TV Shows

7. Alessandra Torresani - Arrested Development

At first, the character Ann Veal was meant to be played by a different actress every season. This was supposed to be a creative way of showing that the character of George's girlfriend was nothing special and completely forgettable. This all changed however when the second Ann stepped in, Mae Whitman, and the directors liked what they saw so much that they kept her on.

At first, what appeared to be creative reasoning, letting go of the actress Alessandra Torresani would have been more of an insult as she clearly wasn't as memorable as her successor in the series. Now this isn't to say that she was so bad she had to quit, but her acting wasn't great and clearly, nobody thought she was worth keeping around.

The young actress has since gone on to feature in a number of movies and TV shows, but as we learned from watching her in Arrested Development, she just doesn't have that Wow factor. Her acting is nothing special and she really did make the character in the series forgettable. That's some reverse talent right there.
