There's very little need to tell you who Will Ferrell is, as his name has become synonymous with Hollywood comedy. His time in big-budget comedy blockbusters is fun but often lacking in the sense of creativity and uniqueness that made him a star to begin with. That's why it's always exciting to see him appear in smaller projects.

He's lent his presence to name-brand sitcoms before, most notably The Office, where he impressed audiences by taking on the role of Michael Scott's replacement for a few episodes. Of course, his time in the show was short and sweet thanks to his busy schedule. Because of the success of his sitcom cameo appearances, there's no doubt that he'd be able to make a big splash in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Another big reason why it would be great to see him is that his star-power is incredibly influential, meaning that he'd bring a sense of grandiosity to the final season.
