10 Actors Who Got Kicked Out Of Their Own TV Shows

Here we have another spin-off which saw one of the starring characters given their marching orders due to a perfectly natural part of life.

Coming into the eighth season and final of highly popular Happy Days spin-off comedy show Laverne & Shirley, actor Cindy Williams, who starred as Shirley Feeney, became pregnant with her first child. Yet, the producers of the show weren't exactly impressed by this news due to the fact the character of Shirley most definitely did not have a bun in the oven at the time of shooting. This, along with growing tension between Williams and co-star Penny Marshall eventually opened the door for Williams' exit from the series, with Marshall going it alone from the second episode of the final season onwards.

Williams would eventually file a $20million lawsuit against Paramount after it was said that the studio was demanding the star to work right up to and on her scheduled due date. However, the case would ultimately be settled out of court, and Marshall and Williams would also later settle their differences as the years went by.
