3. Jared Padalecki Needs Time To Get Buff - The Boys
Unlike every other actor on this list, Jared Padalecki hasn't yet appeared on The Boys, though Padalecki did recently confirm that he would be starring in the superhero series' fifth and final season in a currently unspecified role, following in the footsteps of fellow Supernatural alums Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Prior to this, Padalecki expressed intense enthusiasm for showing up in the series, though had one condition for creator Eric Kripke, who also created Supernatural.
Padalecki simply demanded that Kripke give him a lot of time to prepare for a part that will almost inevitably see him in a state of undress. He told Collider:
"My response to [Kripke] 90% of the time is, 'Dude, I’m 41 now with three kids. I’m not 25 and working out three hours a day. I know you’re going to f**king make me get naked, so give me a heads-up. I’m in, but let me get a nutritionist and a trainer and get in the hyperbaric chamber for eight months before you make me show up."
Back in June, Padalecki said that the show wouldn't start filming until "at least January," which conveniently gives him close to his requested eight months to get into fighting shape - especially as Padalecki has presumably been aware of this news for a little longer than we have.
