Just about any production would be lucky to have Giancarlo Esposito aboard - the man can bring a rare gravitas to just about anything he's cast in, and especially if it's a villainous role.

He was a slam dunk choice to play Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, then, but Esposito revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he required just one thing of series creator Jon Favreau before signing on the dotted line.

Esposito was thrilled to become part of the Star Wars universe, though ever the cool customer, told Favreau that he'd play Moff Gideon as long as the character had one piece of clothing - a cape.

Favreau swiftly told the actor that it was a "done deal," and that was that. Let's be honest, any filmmaker would be daft to refuse Esposito a request like this, and he certainly made the most of that cape throughout.
