6. Ruby Rose - Batwoman
Although Ruby Rose left Batwoman in May 2020, she only began discussing the details of her departure in October 2021. Why wait more than a full year? The reason is unclear though cynics say she was waiting for her NDA to expire.
The first point of contention is whether Ruby Rose quit or got fired. Rose says she quit because of unsafe working conditions and problems on set caused by Dougray Scott. She claimed Scott was disillusioned with the show and started causing problems when his agent told him there was no way to get out of his contract.
Dougray Scott claims it was Ruby Rose who was causing problems on set, not him. Warner Bros backed Dougray Scott, insisting that Rose didn’t quit. She was fired. They didn’t exercise the option to sign her for a second season because they didn’t want her anymore. The studio claims Rose made life miserable for the production assistants on Batwoman while Scott was been a consummate professional.
This seems like one that'll only get uglier as the months go on.
