The result is hilarious to say the least, due to the great acting team of Rob Cuthill (as the local sports hero, genuinely obsessed with his home town ) and Julie Klausner (as the more self-conscious TV host).Did you know that Newbridge was the capital of the USA for just one day? Of course you didn't, the town doesn't even exist! The sketch is actually based on a radio comedy show called The Best Show, hosted by Tom Scharpling (who's also responsible for writing and directing this infomercial). When you watch it, it will seem a bit different from other Adult Swim material and more in the vein of The Onion, of which Tom Schrapling is not a stranger to.
