10 Alternative Breaking Bad Spin-Offs To Better Call Saul

2. Lydia Rodarte-Quayle's Shift To Crime

In a series filled with ruthless, dead-eyed drug barons, the jittery, pasty businesswoman Lydia Rodarte-Quayle sticks out like a sore thumb. Her nervousness is certainly justified given the contacts she makes in her line of work supplementing the methamphetamine trade, but in her own way, Lydia is just as vindictive as the next character in Breaking Bad - consistently fiddling behind the scenes to bump off anyone who might implicate her in criminal activities. Behind her quiver and chamomile tea is a cold, calculating woman. But how did she get there? Chances are that she began as an innocent businesswoman and branched out when she saw the opportunity to make big bucks, but it'd be interesting to see exactly how she took that first step into criminality. By the time we're first introduced to Lydia, we get the impression that she's been involved with the drug industry for a reasonable amount of time. And yet, despite her experience, she continues to appear constantly overwhelmed by the vicious company she finds herself in. How did this woman ever get involved with such fierce drug barons? Was she always sneakily ruthless under the surface? Finding out would certainly make for an engrossing watch, that's for sure.
