10 Alternative Breaking Bad Spin-Offs To Better Call Saul

1. Jesse Pinkman's Life After Heisenberg

Who wasn't punching the air when a ragged Jesse Pinkman crashed through the Neo-Nazi compound gates to freedom in "Felina"? For a character who began as little more than a juvenile junkie, Jesse actually came to resemble the closest thing to a genuinely compassionate person in a world where bodies fell all around him, emerging as one of Breaking Bad's most popular characters as a result. On several occasions throughout the show, Jesse finds himself teetering on the brink of insanity after wrestling with the notion of right vs wrong, wrapping himself up in moral dilemmas whilst the likes of Walter, Mike, and Todd appear emotionally unruffled by comparison. When Todd nonchalantly lets his gun loose in the desert on an unsuspecting child, Jesse was the only one who truly looked on the tragedy as anything other than a bad business move. Given his knack for unpredictable behaviour and overall popularity with fans, the life of Jesse Pinkman after Heisenberg is surely the spin-off that everybody wants to see? Sure, he got a good ending in Breaking Bad, but you can't help but wonder what might have happened to Jesse after he escaped imprisonment. Did he start a new life in Alaska? Did he go back into small-time dealing? Did he reunite with Badger & Skinny Pete? We'll probably never know. But if an unlikely spin-off is hinted at in the future, or Jesse pops up in the background of Better Call Saul, you can bet on the whole Breaking Bad fan-base screaming "Yeah, bitch!".
