Boruto gets a bad wrap. Is it as good as the series that spawned it? Not really, but most shonen aren't. Compared to Naruto, it's still in the early stages of its story and is taking its time to grow into its own just like most long running anime.

Even in its infancy though, there's still plenty of legitimately great moments to be found. The best example of this is by far in episode sixty-five where long-time rivals Naruto and Sasuke face off against the mighty Momoshiki Otsutsuki. While they aren't the ones to defeat the near godlike being, the two still lay down quite the whooping on him.

This beatdown still stands out as one of the most memorable in the whole of the Naruto saga. It's the culmination of years of character development for both Naruto and Sauske. The two of them have fought side-by-side and against each other for so long that they can read and predict one another's moves, working perfectly in tandem.

It is a truly incredibly viewing experience to watch them work as one after so many years of their complex relationship. The fight feels like the end of an era, one that will go down as one of anime's all time greats
