10 Attractions That Need To Be In A Doctor Who Theme Park

1. Time Vortex Rollercoaster

The time vortex is kind of a big deal in Doctor Who, the place where time and space meet, partially the reason why the Doctor and other Gallifreyans even became Time Lords in the first place. It has made many appearances throughout the show's history, most recently in episode The Caretaker with the Twelfth Doctor using the time vortex to try and get rid of the Skovox Blitzer. In every era in which the vortex has surfaced, is appearance has widely varied - if it has physically appeared at all. There's a lot of artistic license to take with this one and a lot of different examples to take inspiration from too. Generally it is portrayed as a chaotic place, sometimes depicted as a storm, sometimes as energy, and at one point even including space debris. Imagine a rollercoaster based on this. Chaotic, fast, energetic, frenzied. That could make one hell of a ride - plenty of loops, breath catching drops, a good amount of time spent upside down, throwing riders all over the place. It could be the extreme ride of the park. It's a work in progress. Rollercoaster-designers no doubt would give a better synopsis, but there's the opportunity to make a white-nuckle Who ride right there. Family park or not, there's gotta be at least one thrill-seeker and this would more than fit the bill! What do you think of this list? Have you got any of your own ideas for a Doctor Who theme park?
