Daenerys usually gets at least one badass moment per season, but to this day she still has not topped her incredible “Dracarys” scene from Season 3. In this moment, from the end of the episode And Now His Watch Has Ended, Dany is apparently about to trade Drogon to Kraznys mo Nakloz in exchange for an army of Unsullied. Kraznys has been a complete ass and, speaking Valaryian, he says, “tell the bitch her beast won’t come.”

Kraznys has been speaking about Dany like that this whole time, thinking she doesn’t speak Valaryian. But then, much to his surprise, Dany shoots back with “A dragon is not a slave” in perfect Valaryian. She commands all the Unsullied to slay their masters and, as the Targaryan theme kicks into high gear, she lets out one word: Dracarys, meaning "dragonfire."

And just like that, Drogon burns Kraznys alive, the Unsullied murder all the slave masters, and Dany marches away from Astapor with a full, eight thousand man army. But not before dropping the slave-master whip behind her. She doesn’t need it.

This is really the Dany moment we’ve been building up to since the first episode of the series. She’s now a strong, confident leader who’s using her dragons wisely to gain power and is ready to conquer Westeros. Now, if only she could actually leave Meereen already…
