10 Awesome Moments That Made Better Call Saul Unmissable

6. Mike's Confession To His Dead Son's Widow

The character of Mike Ehrmantraut is noted for his frequently quiet and unassuming nature - in both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul he doesn't say much, is economical with his words when he does and rarely shows any signs of emotion. Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike, certainly proved that he was capable of displaying the kind of raw emotion worthy of awards in the episode entitled Five-O, which takes us back in time to explain just how he came to be in Albuquerque following on from the murder of his son. After all but confessing to his daughter-in-law that he tracked down and killed the crooked cops who killed his son, the normally stoic Mike cracks as the guilt of his part in his son's death emerges. Seeing Mike shed tears is surely a rare sight, and Banks', performance is second to none.
