10 Awesome Moments That Made Better Call Saul Unmissable

5. Discovering The Kettlemans

While Better Call Saul is perhaps more concerned with delivering solid drama than it is light-hearted comedy, there's plenty of light relief to be found here and there, not least in the characters of the Kettlemans, described by the creators as "the world's squarest outlaws". Having been accused of embezzling $1.6 million from the county and been warned by Jimmy himself that there's a strong likelihood that they'll be robbed, the Kettlemans decide to take a camping trip to get away from the possible danger. Being stupid as well as square, it doesn't take long for Jimmy to track them down a few kilometers from their home. When Jimmy hears the family singing in their tent and bursts in shouting "Here's Johnny!" - a great reference to Stanley Kubrick's The Shining - their terrified reaction is absolutely priceless, while Betsy's refusal to turn in the cash sums up her dominant role in the family and just how hen-pecked her husband is.
