10 Awesome TV Shows That Never Won A (Major) Emmy Award

Star Trek The Original Series Where No Man Has Gone Before

Speaking of sci-fi TV shows, they don't come more iconic than Star Trek, and it's incredible now to think that one of the most influential series of all time didn't get any recognition at the Emmys.

The worst example is The Original Series, which was nominated twice for Outstanding Drama Series, and lost on both occasions to Mission: Impossible, with Leonard Nimoy's Spock also overlooked both of those years.

The Next Generation fared better, with a number of technical wins, but was only nominated once in the Outstanding Drama Series category, where it lost out to Picket Fences, and Patrick Stewart didn't get any recognition for his leading role.
