Another victim of Modern Family's dominance, it's a major shame that one of the smartest and funniest sitcoms of its generation consistently went unrewarded by the Emmys. The closest it came was in 2012, when it was nominated for Outstanding Writing, but lost out to Louie.

Even just the fact that was its first major nomination was bad enough, though. Seasons 2 and 3 especially saw the show operating on another level, which should've seen it earn at least one Oustanding Comedy Series award.

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons should've received some love for writing, and either Modern Warfare or A Fistful of Paintballs would've warranted an Outstanding Directing win, while all of the cast were pretty great throughout too (especially Donald Glover and Danny Pudi).
