Walt and Jesse are fairly on edge about this, as the laptop held CCTV evidence of them being at the lab. When the idea of using a bomb to destroy the laptop is shot down, they decide to use a giant electromagnet to wipe the laptop without ever entering the strongroom. Using Mike's police connections, Jesse and Walt are parked outside the evidence room with the electromagnet, which is hidden inside a truck. The magnet is switched on - with amusing results.
