Its a shame than the good guy Trent was really such a wet blanket, as the White Dino Ranger that is introduced to the viewers is a master-class in badass-ness. The look and feel of the White Dino Ranger was brutal enough, and Trent's mind-controlled-self when viewers first met him was a nice throwback to Tommy's introductory character from Mighty Morphin. Trent's overall character, in his actions and persona, was a handsome reminder of the origins of anti-Power Rangers, as his whole character bore several resemblances to Tommy, not just the initial bad guy entrance. Additionally, in Dino Thunder's Super Sentai counterpart, Bakuryuu Sentai AbaRanger, the White Dino Ranger is instead known as the menacing (and frankly far better) AbareKiller. Now THAT'S badass.
