Its one thing to start out as the bad guy that everyone falls in love with, Its quite another to return a short while after your exit as, essentially, that same guy but instead fighting with the good guys. Returning to the original series as the White Ranger was the first sign that Jason David Frank proved how popular he is with fans, and for many the White Ranger epitomizes that popularity. Stronger and better than Tommy Oliver's first experience as a Power Ranger, Tommy's role as the White Ranger was so badass he abruptly took leadership of the Power Rangers, right from under Jason's nose! The White Ranger was Tommy's longest-running Ranger colour, and for many became the mascot of the series. Armed with a timeless Ranger design and several spectacular Zords, its no wonder why Jason David Frank HAD to return to the series.
