10 Behind-The-Scenes Joe Rogan Experience Facts

1. The Equipment Isn’t Cheap

Despite its relatively simple set-up, it has to be noted that one overlooked aspect of JRE’s ability to stay on top of the podcast game is that the technical set-up has kept pace with developments in this area.

The most expensive bits of kit are the Apple Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR used for recording and post-production, with these being recently upgraded since the show moved to Texas. It also has to be considered that costs soon add up when the show requires 4 top of the range camcorders, premium audio interface equipment, etc.

The technological equipment alone used on JRE alone is estimated to have cost just over £35,000, this is not including any furniture or any “decorative” aspects of the much maligned new studio. On top of this, as discussed in previous podcasts, the backstage sections may contain anything from flotation tanks, gym equipment, industrial freezers and Tesla-developed flamethrowers.
