10 Best Action Set Pieces In The Arrowverse

Arrow’s series finale was a relatively low-key affair after the bombast of the preceding episodes, but despite its restrained approach it featured one of the most jaw-dropping fight scenes in the show, and Arrowverse as a whole.

The finale features John Byrne, a criminal from Oliver's earlier days who kidnaps Oliver's son William. He is noteworthy for being the first person on Oliver's list that was spared by the vigilante.

In a flashback to the first season, we are once again treated to the more brutal version of Oliver going up against Byrne’s henchmen.

Audiences are reminded of the Hood’s once-vicious approach to crimefighting as he takes down the henchmen in a variety of ways.

Despite being overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of his opponents, Oliver is able to come out on top and capture Byrne. The sequence benefitted from eight years of finely honed stunt work and choreography, as well as solid character development for the series’ titular hero.
