10 Best Anime TV Series Of 2016 (So Far)

5. Dimension W

My Hero Academia 2
Anime Ltd

Dimension W is as real and original as they come. It isn’t too flashy and doesn’t have the same outstanding animation graphics similar to many modern anime today. But it presents a bunch of other perks that make it one of the best and most underrated anime series of the year.

Dimension W is set in the future, but is nothing like the many other sci-fi anime series made in recent years. The characters are interesting and amusing, and the tale of revenge isn’t immediately apparent. The show is fast paced and action-oriented, without the long narratives and explanations. The concept is interesting and the balance between the action and the story keeps viewers captivated and eager to see what comes next.

I like to think of myself as a world traveler and social butterfly, although I do spend a lot of my time watching the latest Japanese anime series, sitcoms, movies, and drama series. I live on the island of Crete, where I was born, and enjoy walking on the beach with my little cocker spaniel, Molly, when I'm not writing for WhatCulture.com and UNILAD.co.uk.
