10 Best Cartoon Theme Songs

Again, this song clearly and quickly establishes the tone of the show and the quality of the characters. Unlike other themes however, it fully packs a lot into the words, adding a tonne of information about the series. Where most cartoon shows make simple repetitive lyrics, this one feels like it's continuously going at one hundred miles-per-hour, and this altogether adds to its charm.

Despite how much there is in the lyrics, you will struggle not to catch everything as it's all laid out in the perfect rhythm to get it stuck in your head. The constant flow and upbeat melody give off a musical theatre vibe which helps it to stand out too.

They even make plenty of fourth-wall-breaking references such as claiming "now you know the plot" which is incredibly in-keeping with the style of self-aware humour that Animaniacs was (and once again is, having been revived by Hulu), known for.

The 2020 reboot still uses this same theme, almost entirely with the same lyrics, except for the ending where they add a tonne of contemporary references to keep it up to date. Listening to either will lead to an enjoyable time.
