10 Best Cartoon Theme Songs

6. Teen Titans

The Teen Titans theme has an exceptional place in this list as it's the only song to have utilised two languages. The lyrics were written by Andy Sturmer and was composed by Japanese artists Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura - otherwise known as Puffy AmiYumi. The song was released in Japanese and English and both versions made their way onto the show globally.

The song itself is entertaining and has this great contrast of fun and severity, which matches the tone of Teen Titans perfectly. The childish and straightforward lyrics establish the Titans well, and the strong drumming give it this action-packed bass that lets you know you'll be watching something that's got plenty of energy.

It's interesting to note that one lyric states "never met a villain that they liked" which is technically a fallacy as the young heroes have liked villains before, such as Terra and even Blackfire (to begin with, at least).

That said, the dual languages, catchy melody and unique sound make this theme stand out as one of Cartoon Network's most memorable.
