10 Best Final Seasons In TV History

At the time of its final season, Friends was arguably the biggest sitcom on the planet, and tens of millions of people were tuning in each week to see how it would all end. Would Monica and Chandler be able to have children? Would Phoebe marry Mike? Would it be Ross and Rachel, or Joey and Rachel?

Thankfully, all of these questions and more were answered through the show's tenth season, with plenty of entertainment along the way. We saw the fall out between the group following the trip to Barbados, Monica and Chandler go through the emotional roller-coaster of adoption, Phoebe's wedding goes ahead (with a lot of challenges along the way), and then finally there's a mad dash from Ross to the airport after he admits his feelings for Rachel never went away.

All of the drama culminates in a heartbreaking final scene for both the characters and the fans, as they leave Monica's apartment for the final time, heading out to get coffee together before going their separate ways. It really was a fitting ending for the show.
