10 Best Futurama Guest Stars (Who Played Themselves)

Former Vice President of the United States, Al Gore, is a great friend to Futurama, has appeared as himself on multiple occasions, and of course, has ridden the mighty Moon Worm.

His daughter is actually a writer for the show, which may be one of the reasons Gore originally agreed to become the future's first Emperor of the Moon.

The character first appeared in Anthology of Interest I, and was actually able to keep his body since the majority of the story was set in the year 2000, as was the case when he was a taxi driver in Bender's Game. When he appeared in Crimes of the Hot however, he was reduced to just his head like most of Futurama's guest appearances.

The former VP then lent his voice to Futurama's second movie, The Beast with a Billion Backs, and served as a host of sorts for the Holiday Spectacular, teasing his would be hilarious return as Captain Lance Starman.
