9. The Night King And Viserion
The Night King’s resurrection of Viserion was a great way to end the penultimate episode of Season 7.
Viewers of the show were then able to experience the full consequence of this new partnership in the final scene of the season, during which the Night King utilised his new pet in order to bring down the Wall and march the Dead towards Winterfell.
Granted, there wasn’t any dialogue or chemistry between the two of them, but this duo did offer plenty of spectacle. As well as demolishing the Wall, the Night King and Viserion were a frightening combination during the Battle of Winterfell, making for a great mid-air fight between the three dragons and their respective riders.
Unfortunately, the Night King was taken down far too soon. Had he survived for longer, he and Viserion would have undoubtedly provided even more cinematic spectacles.
