Deep down, Penguin just likes to clown around, and on this occasion, you can thank Jerome Valeska for the delightful sight of Penguin in a garish red and white polka dot bow tie, as well as a really fetching striped tutu.

Jerome and Penguin's little mime game is a lot of fun to watch, and even though you are unsure about what his motive is, it's obvious that Oswald was up to something.

This is one of the episodes where Poison Ivy is used exceedingly well, and the scene where she dispatches Wayne Enterprises employee Roland Charles demonstrates how dangerous she has become. The closing shot of seeing Mr Charles in his planted state is horrifying as well as mesmerising - it's enough to keep you away from garden centers for the rest of your life!

On the positive side, Wayne Enterprises has a new human-plant pot to add to their applied sciences division.

Ivy's vines crawled their way over to Bruce Wayne, sending him into an endless black pit of twisted hallucinations and... a costume party? Ra's Al Ghul made a surprise appearance as a messed up surgeon who cut off Bruce's face revealing a black hole of nothingness. This episode was crazy, exciting and a curious foretelling of Bruce's evolution into Batman - all complete with the infamous Gordon 'tash!
