5. Korra Restores Everyone's Bending - Endgame
Since Nickelodeon had yet to yank their heads out of their asses, the Korra team were convinced they were just gonna get 1 season with 12 episodes to their name. As such, the ending to season 1 carries a finality to it, that really feels like the show could properly end here and everything would be fine.
Korra, after having most of her bending ripped from her by Amon, finally achieves airbending in order to finally give the masked creep the beatdown he's had coming. Unfortunately, Korra doesn't exactly feel good about herself. In fact, it's safe to say she's emotionally destroyed from the loss of her bending.
But of course, when we are at our lowest, we are capable of the most change, as Aang makes clear to her when he appears before her and restores to her her bending. And in so doing, gives her the ability to restore the bending of others as well.
If the show had actually ended here, it would have done so on a high note.
