4. Nirrti (Jacqueline Samuda)
Nirrti only appeared in a handful of episodes, but her insidious plot to force the evolutionary pace of humans is both disturbing and intriguing. Named for a Hindu Nakshatra, Nirrti was obsessed with creating a genetically advanced human (known as a hok'taur) to serve as her next host.
While humans proved to be adaptable and useful as Goa'uld hosts (more so than the brutish Unas), they still had to rely on advanced technology to simulate their Godhood. Nirrti's mission was create a telepathic, telekentic or otherwise psychic human.
Cassandra (mentioned earlier) was one of her test subjects and displayed dangerously advanced powers for a short while. In the end, Nirrti was hung by her own rope when she attempted to utilise an Ancient DNA Resequencing Device and created a group of mutated but super-power people, who turned against her. Perhaps she shouldn't have been so picky about their looks and just taken one as a host.
