It's scientifically impossible to do a comedy show without making some kind of reference to Star Wars. With "Free Hat" you get two for the price of one! Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

The O.G Star Wars movies have been remastered with extra CGI scenes and the boys don't like it. They begin a movement hoping to stop filmmakers from doing any more damage to classic films. Naturally, they inadvertently align themselves with the supporters of an imprisoned baby murderer. This is South Park after all.

Their crusade accidentally results in Spielberg and Lucas wanting to ruin Raiders of the Lost Ark. What follows are not just some great mimics of classic films, but a satire of filmmakers' greed to exploit and saturate their audience.

Stan trying to reason with Lucas mirrors Luke Skywalker talking with Darth Vader.

E.T. is ripped into for editing out scenes of guns by having the guns in Saving Private Ryan replaced with walkie talkies.

Parker and Stone discuss remastering the original South Park pilot episode by adding CGI Dewbacks and imperial walkers.

Finally, upon viewing the terrible Raiders remake, the audience plays victim to a recreation of the Nazi face melting scene.
