10 Best Movies Actors Did After The Walking Dead

4. Dragged Across Concrete (2018) - Laurie Holden

Mayhem Steven Yeun
Summit Entertainment

Directed by S. Craig Zahler, the mastermind being the genre-bending actions Bone Tomahawk (2015) and Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2019), Dragged Across Concrete works with an all-star cast and enough violence and destruction to make it just as crazy and exciting as Zahler's previous projects.

Andrea actress Laurie Holden, missing from the show since her maddening season three death, stars alongside Vince Vaugh, Mel Gibson, Don Johnson and Jennifer Carpenter as the multiple sclerosis-suffering wife of crooked cop Brett Ridgeman (Gibson).

Dragged Across Concrete is brilliantly acted and very well put together, balancing its extreme violence with a more subdued and focussed slow-burn character study. Admittedly, it's not as strong as Zahler's last two films, but Dragged Across Concrete, with its talented and engaged cast and unabashedly dark tone, works wonders as a slick, grimy action-drama.
